CHANGES IN SPORTS VENUE AND TIME
by Sports Committee on Tue, 25 May 2010 5:51:58 -0600

Attention everyone!!

It is appeared that Purdue Recreational & Sports Center (RSC) that initially will not be used as venue for Midwest Games will not start their construction till June 2nd. Therefore, all sports that will be held in Lambert Gym and Owen Residence Hall will be moved to RSC Main Gym, RSC South Gym RSC Room 122 and RSC Room 128. Below are the details:

OLD LOCATIONS:

Badminton, Volleyball, Sepak Takraw: Lambert Gym

Chess, Table Tennis: Owen Residence Hall

NEW LOCATIONS:

Badminton, Volleyball, Sepak Takraw: RSC Main Gym

Table Tennis: RSC South Gym

Chess: RSC Room 122

We also have added one more sport, Congkak that will be held at RSC Room 128. These changes are good things for us, the organizer and all the participants since the venues for most sports will be in and around RSC. This will give more opportunity for those who participate in more than one sports to actually play those sports.

However, with these changes, we have slightly changed our schedule for those sports. Below are the details:

SPORTS

There are no changes in other sports. We hope all the changes will not affect you much. We are sorry for such late changes but these changes will make all sport venues close to each other that will make it more convenience for all of us. Thanks and see you at Midwest Games.
